The purpose of this project was to design a wind turbine that should efficiently convert wind energy into electricity using innovative technology for specifically given case scenario.
Our team’s scenario was to construct a wind turbine that would help in reducing carbon emissions in Sweden to zero by 2045. The Swedish Wind Energy Association (SWEA) required the device to withstand all climate conditions and to minimize maintenance. The wind technology should have also had a low environmental impact as well as a low carbon footprint during manufacturing.
It was important to curate a Gantt Chart during the planning process of the project to organize and strategize how the work will be divided and completed. Each milestone was an imperative building block to reach the final products. The responsibilities for each milestone were as follows:
